ICHK Secondary is committed to an inclusive vision of education. From our very beginnings, we have provided support for young people who find mainstream education a challenge. We have designed a structured yet flexible curriculum that welcomes exploration, inclusion, and opportunity for all students.

We are very proud of our culture of inclusion and acceptance, and the work we do with students with diverse learning needs. Our commitment is to offer opportunities to all children, whatever their learning profiles, in the belief that everyone should be offered a well-rounded, aspirational, and growth-oriented education.

We work tirelessly to improve provision, and as the first cohort of students move towards graduating from the +1 Centre, we have become acutely aware of the need to provide more post-secondary learning opportunities for young people with diverse needs. With this in mind, the idea for ICHK Summits was born.

Using the same considered approach we took in designing the +1 Centre, the learning space at ICHK Summits is flexible and dynamic, responsive to the needs of the instructors and students. It is not laid out in a school classroom format, but has been inspired by co-working spaces and the flexible learning environments commonly found in universities.

The facilities provide an enriched learning environment that supports a broader and more innovative curriculum.
